When ye old fandoms pull you back in.

And I'm not talking about homestuck.
I'm talking WAYYY back. I'm talkin 7-years-back fandom. Fandom that--

Darnit.
I'm talking about the Legacy of Kain series.

WHAT THE SARAFAN INQUISITORS ARE LIKED ROMANCED

Malek-

Malek is the pillar of conflict; you know what they say about love and war. It's all fair game to him. However Malek is painfully loyal to the Sarafan moral code- so don't expect him to be a particularly good partner. Expect him to be a good lover-- when he chooses to be. Otherwise Malek's relationships are of convenience, and often of little inconvenience to him. He won't force you into anything, however- he's got bigger fish to fry than “emotions”.

Raziel-

Similar to Malek, but certainly not as... “Open”. Raziel lives by the Sarafan creed, but Raziel has higher standards than Malek. Raziel's had plenty of women in the past, but sees himself as a more altruistic lover. For the week or so the two of you remain an article- he's yours. His gaze will not wander and he'll be very accepting and kind to even his most skittish liaisons, but, as stated before, you are just his liaison. His heart belongs to the Sarafan order.

Turel-

Turel can actually be romanced. Though rather blunt and stony- Turel likes it when a woman is patient and can tolerate others behavior. Sex isn't as much of a factor for him, but if he does initiate- it's only a sign of how much he cares for his partner. He's not particularly looking for romance, however. If avoided he'd like to NOT break his vows of priesthood... But would step down from it after the vampire menace is vanquished if your relationship intends to go further.

He was married once before he became a priest.

Dumah-

Strangely enough, Dumah is even more goal-oriented than Turel. Blunt, honest to a fault, and with the magic ability to hide every other emotion except his pride and joy for martial arts. An active woman would make all the difference in Dumah's life at first- but chances are she wouldn't see it right away. Dumah would be too busy smiling outside of training for her to notice he's happier then. His brothers would notice, and it'd be plainly obvious he's grown attachment- but he's in no great rush into a relationship. The camaraderie would be legendary, however, and slowly as he realizes that he's fallen in love he'd just accept it. Maybe he'd leave the order after things settled down.

Rahab-

Emotionally stable Rahab has... Mixed emotions about getting close to people. The whole reason why he's in the Sarafan is because of a fight over a woman- who he didn't want to begin with. It took years of bonding with his brothers for Rahab to open up with them- and now they are more family than his blood is. Rahab would undoubtedly enjoy the company of someone of either gender who got along with all of his brothers, and wasn't so pushy with him as a whole. As a bond builds the man would slowly start to allow minor signs of affection to be passed in your way. Definitely the Asexual of them all.

Zephon-

Zephon was raised in the Sarafan's stronghold as an orphan, and was a lonesome, somewhat terrifying child. These traits are what solidified- and made for the strong foundation of his career, and he's proud of that. He wasn't always, however. Being “weird” and the only orphan as a child left him with nary an actual childhood friend, and potential lovers are harsh on those who know their secrets. He's romantically stinted- but if you can work your way under his exoskeleton he's an inexperienced, shy young man who really just wants to know he's loved and accepted by someone- by anyone- despite being “weird” and “deceitful”. Yes... He is the most jealous/clingy/will-probably-mess-up/doesn't-know-how-to-deal-with-his-feelings of he and his brothers, but it's all done with good intentions. He'll also get better about it the longer the relationship lasts. Will probably not leave the order for you- but will keep you as his lover and stay devoted. He simply can't leave the Sarafan, after all they have done for him.

Melchiah-

Melchiah has seen better days as a man. He was once a friar, and generally romantic and sexual notions are beyond him. He feels he's far too old for that sort of thing, but then again he loves being proven wrong. Anyone under thirty for him would make him feel uncomfortable, however. He'd really be satisfied with a relationship soley based on companionship. Unlife lasts forever- might as well spend it with someone you like. Good news is; hey. Kicka** doctor for a man-friend. Eternity is going to be a bit off for you! He's old. He can leave the order if the vampire menace is under control, riiight? If someone really needs to be healed they can come FIND him.

It is 1:30 am and I got work in the morning... But no. I had to bard-of-heart because its; "What I do". Fine take your darn vampire hunters.
